Ram’s Head Inn Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary of “Out at the Inn”

NYC Duo “Lovely” to Return for Encore Performance

Galloway, May 26, 2010 – Ram’s Head Inn will celebrate the one year anniversary of its Monday night event, ‘Out at the Inn’, with a special performance of “Lovely” on May 31, 2010.

“Our Monday ‘Out at the Inn’ nights are not only a fun evening of live music, great food and drink specials,” said Robert Thibodeau, general manager of Ram’s Head Inn “but a way in which we are able to raise funds, gifts and awareness for important local causes.”

Events such as the Halloween Costume Ball this past October raised more than a $4,000 for the South Jersey AIDS Alliance and a holiday toy drive in December supported the Just 4 Kids foundation with toys and clothing for Catholic Charities.

In addition to adding a colorful start to the week, ‘Out at the Inn’ has become a great venue for our new chef, Greg Baudermann to show off their short-order skills with a growing menu of tasty treats and creative cocktails.

The success of Out at the Inn, which aims to provide a fun and pleasant environment for everyone – including the GLBT community, has been supported by the addition of other local venues offering similar evenings including The Chelsea Hotel’s Thursday night events, Trump Taj Mahal’s Bingo night and Harrah’s Out in AC Weekend, which had its first, soon-to-be annual event last October.

From a business perspective, ‘Out at the Inn’ opened up Ram’s Head Inn to both a new market of customers as well as a new revenue stream – being that the restaurant has typically not been open on Mondays.

“There is a growing need for something that combines fine dining, a comfortable, classy venue, great service and entertainment and reasonable prices in the Philadelphia-Atlantic City area,” said Kurt Knowles, Jr, co-owner of Ram’s Head Inn. “Ram’s Head Inn appeals to the type of person looking for this outlet and we are proud to do so.”

In addition to Monday nights, Ram’s Head Inn is pleased to announce two new special weekly events. Starting on June 3, Thursday is ‘Grill Night’ in the Courtyard at Ram’s Head Inn that will offer a special grill menu from Chef Greg Baudermann prepared in the courtyard. Starting June 6, Brunch will now be offered each Sunday.

And don’t forget, Ram’s Head Inn has a Facebook page, which offers news and upcoming events at the restaurant as well as photos and the occasional recipe.
